It will guarantee the quality of all processes, by implementing a system quality control, and ensure that the contract is executed in a timely and efficient way and that project objectives are met. It will also oversee the accomplishment of all European Union requirements and commitments signed at the Grant Agreement.
This WP will proceed to the recruitment of the action team, starting with the ERA CHAIR holder and after that, the ERA CHAIR holder will be in charge of the recruitment of the team members.
The capacity building of CIIMAR will be achieved through this WP, with the objective of developing and strengthening the research and innovation capacity at CIIMAR and to promote its long-term sustainability, enhance CIIMAR integration in European Research infrastructures and international key organizations, and provide support to foster the project management, networking and fundraising capacities of CIIMAR.
Establish a fully functional new team at Leão Lab that will contribute to the improvement of CIIMAR capacity in developing translational knowledge and providing services in the area of Bioprocessing Engineering, Synthetic Biology, Bioinformatics and Green Chemistry.
This WP will enhance CIIMAR stakeholder’s interaction by two main tasks: develop and implement a strategy to interact with national and international stakeholders, and participation in business conventions and other international events. Regular meetings with relevant stakeholders will be implemented, to help to find the needs of the industry and to implement a strategy to meet those needs through industry driven projects.
This WP aims to create detailed communication and dissemination plan. The BlueBio4Future webpage will serve as a platform for information exchange between the ERA CHAIR activities and the scientific community, different stakeholders and the general public. The webpage will host databases on marine biotechnology resources tailored to different stakeholders, other end-users and the public in general, reinforcing the role of marine biotechnology in the economic development of Europe and its environmental and health impacts.
An impact assessment plan will be developed to regularly assess the performance of the action by defining key performance indicators. This WP will allow CIIMAR together with the ERACHAIR holder to establish a framework to ensure long-term sustainability of the linked institutions in the field of marine biotechnology and to evaluate wider impacts beyond the project lifetime including at regional, national, and European level.
This WP will organize and develop and independent evaluation of the action, that will assess and validate the full range of outcomes of the BlueBio4Future project.
